Sarah Hetherington is currently Director, Galleries at Sydney Contemporary – Australasia’s leading international art fair. Sarah previously held roles as a curator, commercial art gallery manager and Benefaction Manager at the Biennale of Sydney, where she was responsible for philanthropy and major gifts, high-level VIP donor relationship management, as well as national and international event management. Sarah was also a Board Director of Art Month Sydney during its inaugural year. As a freelance art, architecture and design writer, her writing can be found in a range of periodicals including Vault, Art World, The Art Market Report, Eyeline, Runway and Artlink. Sarah has also contributed essays and profiles for museum publications including Heide Museum of Modern Art’s Cubism and Australian Art and Artspace’s Column. From 2016-2019, Sarah was the Asia Pacific Correspondent for Inside Interior Design Review profiling leading architects and award-winning projects in interior architecture and design.
