Wes Hill is Senior Lecturer (Art Theory) at Southern Cross University, Lismore. He writes criticism for Artforum magazine and has published widely on theories and practices of contemporary art, as well as on popular culture. His books include 'Art after the Hipster: Identity Politics, Ethics and Aesthetics' (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017), 'How Folklore Shaped Modern Art: A Post-Critical History of Aesthetics' (Routledge, 2015), 'Shapes of Knowledge' (Monash University Museum of Art, 2019) and 'Emily Floyd: The Dawn' (National Gallery of Victoria, 2014).
