Michael Fitzgerald is a writer and editor living on Gadigal and Birrabirragal land in Sydney. He edited Art & Australia (2007–12), Photofile (2013–15), Art Monthly Australasia (2014–23), and recently was appointed Senior Editor at the Powerhouse museum. He has authored three novels – Late (2023), Pietà (2021) and The Pacific Room (2017) – all through Transit Lounge in Naarm/Melbourne.
